Carrie Fisher Says Returning to Star Wars is Trippy

Carrie Fisher was interviewed briefly about the new Star Wars movie at the red carpet for the auction of her mother's Hollywood memorabilia collection. Carrie says its trippy returning to Star Wars three decades later.

Carrie says, "It's trippy that you do a sequel thirty five years later." We have to agree that this is a very long time for a sequel. Carrie's mother, actress Debbie Reynolds, says Carrie has been working hard to get in shape for the role. Debbie says, "She's worked her body off for one year to not have a body."

Carrie says, "Yeah, they didn't hire me, they hired me minus 35 pounds." Carrie says she enjoyed meeting the younger cast members. Carrie will reprise her role as Princess Leia, now Leia Solo, in the film. Take a look:
