A-Rod Hitless in First Minor League Game Since Hip Surgery

Alex Rodriguez (A-Rod) has started playing baseball again. He is playing in the minor leagues as he continues to recover from hip surgery. A-Rod went 0 for 2 in the game. A-Rod is playing for the Charleston RiverDogs. A-Rod hit .272 with 18 home runs for the Yankees last year. You can find his career stats here.

A-Rod told the press, "It's a slow progression. Three innings is not a heck of a lot. Two at-bats is not too much. It almost feels like March 1st, for spring training."
