"You can't just take a very well-known piece of music and add your own vitriolic rap over the top of it and get away with it," Dolby told MTV News on Wednesday. "If anybody's going to sing nasty lyrics over my music, it's going to be me." "America's Most Hated," which Federline recently debuted on his MySpace page, actually samples Mobb Deep's "Got It Twisted," which sampled "She Blinded Me With Science."

"Mobb Deep came to me and asked for a license," said Dolby, who was paid a fee and receives royalties for Mobb Deep's song. "We issue licenses all the time, for movies and TV shows and so on. I was aware of the Mobb Deep one, but I certainly never issued a license to Kevin Federline." Dolby caught wind of the expletive-filled song, which begins with the line "This is for the haters," through a fan's posting on his own Web site's forum and made a plea to Federline on his blog.

"I considered turning a blind eye to it other than, as I mentioned on my site, asking him politely to take it down," Dolby said. "But I found out today that it aired on VH1 last week. So it's more than just an MP3 download. It's airing on TV, and there's no question it's taken from the Mobb Deep record. It's like what Vanilla Ice did with 'Ice Ice Baby' [illegally sampling Queen and David Bowie's 'Under Pressure'], although I think Vanilla Ice is a superstar compared to this guy."

Federline's management had no comment on the song but said it was removed from his MySpace page Wednesday. Dolby, meanwhile, has handed the issue over to his lawyers.

Kevin Federline's Moving New Song

Kevin Federline has released a charming new single which is available for free on his MySpace page. This one is dedicated only "to all the Haters." "F*** the media!!" is the theme of the song, which also boasts of him selling a million records, how all the girls rush over when he snaps his fingers and other soul-searching, insightful lyrics. He also says that we all fell for the "PopoZao" song -- it was just a red herring, that this is the real deal, what he's all about.

The K-Fed/US Weekly feud is clearly still on. K-Fed's lastest salvo: "And you magazine motherf***rs can kiss a di**. Us Weekly, I'll shout everyone of you bitches out."

He never updates his blog though, which leads one to wonder: can he type? Can he write? Can he speak an entire sentence unencumbered by profanity? Somehow we doubt it. But at least he has a positive attitude.

Britney Puts K-Fed on a Budget

Page Six reports that Britney Spears is finally sick of her husband Kevin's spendthrift ways and that she's putting him on a budget.

Britney Spears has had it with the spend-happy ways of her hubby, Kevin Federline - nicknamed Kevin "Spenderline." Insiders said Spears has put Federline, a wannabe rap star, on a budget. "Each month, he will be allotted a certain amount of money for personal use - i.e., clothing, nightclubs, booze and day-to-day activities. Any big items - cars, or trips that go over allowance - need to be approved by Brit herself," said one source. "She acknowledges she has made a great deal of money. However, she is trying to show Kevin that he needs to be responsible and curb his out-of-control spending habits."

Meanwhile, a source at the Four Seasons Hotel in Maui told us the two are still not getting along: "I was in the elevator with Britney, and she was screaming at K-Fed on her cellphone that she had waited in the suite all day for him to call and had been trying to reach him and couldn't sit in there any longer." A rep for Spears didn't return calls.

Here's an idea: cut Spenderline's ATM card into teeny, tiny pieces and demand he get a real job.

K-Fed Launches New Website

It's the moment you've all been waiting for: Kevin Federline has finally launched his official website. After a Flash opening rap about not messin' with his family which accompanies photos of all the Britney-Kevin tabloid headlines, we finally see a personal message from K-Fed:

I don't think we've ever been formally introduced. My name is Kevin Federline. I'm 6 feet tall, have brown hair and brown eyes.
