Mischa Barton Sets Her Sights on Josh Hartnett
Mischa Barton has a new man in her sights: Josh Hartnett. They were spotted
in London canoodling.
Not content to have a lifestyle and career most people would kill for, she also had the pleasure of hooking up with gorgeous actor Josh Hartnett after they bumped into one another at trendy club Bungalow 8 last night.
Mischa, who recently split from musician boyfriend Taylor Locke is clearly keen to put the past behind her.
The OC star spent a good hour writhing in front of Josh at the bar last night, and must have made an impression as they both headed back to his hotel at the end of the night.
Not to suggest that anything happened between the extremely good-looking and single pair - and Mischa did trundle back to her own hotel an hour later.
The actress, 22, looked desperate to impress Josh at the Temperley afterparty at Bungalow 8 when she arrived at 11pm.
Hartnett, whose screen credits include Pearl Harbor, is in London to play Charlie Babbitt in the Apollo Theatre's production of Rain Man.
Josh, 30, was sitting with Kings Of Leon drummer Nathan Followill and seemed more interested in his conversation than the strutting beauty.
A source said: 'Josh looked pretty bored and was totally ignoring Mischa. She persisted though, and kept getting closer and closer to their table while dancing provocatively.
'Lots of girls were trying to get near their table, where the two guys were drinking champagne and vodka cocktails. Mischa had a lot to contend with, but didn't give up.'
Mischa could really benefit from a high profile romance. But it sounds like Josh isn't all that interested. We shall see if this budding romance pans out.

Josh Hartnett Gets an Armani Bike For His Birthday
Josh Hartnett got a bicycle for his 30th birthday. Not any bicycle, mind you. He got a grey Armani two-wheeler, from Giorgio Armani himself. Josh is the new face of Diamonds for Men, the new cologne from Armani, so the gift wasn't totally out of the blue.
At a lunch on Friday at New York's Gramercy Park Hotel hosted by L'Oreal, Hartnett celebrated the big 3-0 in addition to the fragrance launch. As for the bike, Hartnett pointed out, "I'm going to have to ride it home now."
The actor, who's a big music buff, first met Armani at an Eric Clapton guitar auction 11 years ago. "It was just as I was getting started, and he took an interest in what I was doing and gave me all these clothes to wear," said Hartnett. "I never considered doing any project like this, but I knew if I was going to do it for anyone it was going to be him. We were thinking of doing clothing together but this one came up." Hartnett noted that endorsement projects are increasingly important for actors, especially at a time when the movie industry is suffering. "I'm a big independent film nut and this helps me get the money together for films. If you want to do small independent films, you need to have some foreign box office cachet these days, and these days the biggest way to show you're a movie star overseas is to do a campaign."
Josh just finished filming the independent film August, which is about the rise and fall of a dot com entrepreneur.
