Prince Harry Returns Home After Afghanistan News Leaked Online

Prince Harry has been on the front lines fighting the Taliban for two and a half months. In the following video clip from the Today Show it turns out that he was nicknamed the "bullet magnet" by his fellow soldiers.

The story broke when it was leaked by the Drudge Report onto the Internet. The British press had been careful to keep the story out of the news.

Prince Harry has been quoted as saying he liked the experience in Afghanistan because it gave him a chance to be a normal person for once. Prince Harry is now returning home to England a hero. The Telegraph reports that the Queen praised Prince Harry saying he did "a good job in a very difficult climate."

Prince William Breaks Up With Girlfriend

Prince William is now a free man again. He has broken up with girlfriend Kate Middleton, shocking all those who were ready for a royal wedding.
The couple had been under intense media pressure since they met at St Andrews University, Fife, in 2001, BBC royal correspondent Peter Hunt said. The prince's move to an army camp in Dorset, and Miss Middleton continuing her life in London, are also said to have put a strain on the relationship. Clarence House has not commented on the split. There had been speculation about a possible engagement in recent months.

BBC royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell said: "It's a surprise, because it had seemed very stable and very steady." He said he thought the prince's move to Bovington Camp in Dorset had "a lot to do with the final stages" of the break-up. The Sun reported that the couple had seen each other no more than once a week since then. "One must suspect, though I don't know that this is absolutely certain, that it is more his decision than hers," said Nicholas Witchell.

"He has said in the past that he is too young to get married. "But I am led to believe that there is no-one else involved and that it is a decision they have come to mutually."
So, Kate won't be a princess. Unless, of course, he has a change of heart. But his calendar is pretty well booked for the next few years with his military duties. And there will be plenty of young women who are more than ready to fill Kate's shoes.

Judge Sees No Evidence of Murder of Princess Diana

The Coroner in the Princess Diana inquest has said that so far she has seen no evidence that Princess Diana was murdered. Dodi Fayed's father is furious and is demanding that Prince Philip and Prince Charles be called as witnesses.
The inquest into the death of Diana, Princess of Wales will examine any evidence that she was pregnant on the night she died along with other conspiracy theories already allegedly demolished by the £3.69 million Lord Stevens report, it emerged yesterday. Among claims to be looked at are her alleged fears for her life, said to have been expressed in a letter to her butler Paul Burrell, and in conversations with her lawyer Lord Mischon and friends.

The potential scope of the inquest was disclosed at a pre-inquest hearing yesterday by Coroner Baroness Butler-Sloss and lawyers representing interested parties including the Harrods' owner Mohamed Fayed, whose son Dodi died in the same Paris car crash 10 years ago.

Lady Butler-Sloss outlined the inquest's remit in a letter read to the court stating: "It is very likely that the inquests will have to inquire, to an extent at least, into the following areas: the Princess of Wales's alleged fears for her life; the suggestion that she was pregnant; the embalming of her body and its purpose; and the acquisition by Dodi Fayed of a ring on 30th August 1997. "The inquest may also have to inquire further into such areas as: the identity of the driver of the unidentified white Fiat Uno; any cars which may have blocked the route of the Mercedes; the cause or operation of any 'strobe light'."

Mr Fayed has claimed the couple were assassinated as part of an "Establishment" plot involving the Duke of Edinburgh and agents of the state. However, Lady Butler-Sloss, 73, a former judge, told the hearing yesterday she would only put these matters before a jury if Mr Fayed's team produced evidence in support of the allegations. "At the moment there's not a shred of evidence given to me about any of these allegations," she said. "For me to explore them and for me to present them to the jury I do need some evidence," she told Michael Mansfield, QC, for Mr Fayed.
We seriously doubt that this so-called "inquest" is going to turn up any new evidence whatsoever. It will be a whitewash. The whole thing was just too weird, what with the driver having those strange drugs in his system, his history of working as a contract spy -- the whole thing stinks to high heaven.

NSA Spied on Princess Diana

A new report says that the U.S. spied on Princess Diana just before she died. The report also indicates that her planned trip to the U.S. with her sons was cancelled because of "security issues" and because she was traveling with princes she had to obey the order not to go. So she went on the Fayed's yacht and ended up dating Dodi Fayed, and later dying.
The American secret service was bugging Princess Diana's telephone conversations without the approval of the British security services on the night she died, according to the most comprehensive report on her death, to be published this week. Among extraordinary details due to emerge in the report by former Metropolitan police commissioner Lord Stevens is the revelation that the US security service was bugging her calls in the hours before she was killed in a car crash in Paris.

In a move that raises fresh questions over transatlantic agreements on intelligence-sharing, the surveillance arm of the US has admitted listening to her conversations as she stayed at the Ritz hotel, but failed to notify MI6. Stevens is understood to have been assured that the 39 classified documents detailing Diana's final conversations did not reveal anything sinister or contain material that might help explain her death.

Scotland Yard's inquiry, published this Thursday, also throws up further intelligence links with the Princess of Wales on the night she died. The driver of the Mercedes, Henri Paul, was in the pay of the French equivalent of M15. Stevens traced £100,000 he had amassed in 14 French bank accounts though no payments have been linked to Diana's death.

*****

Tests have confirmed that Paul was more than three times over the French drink-drive limit and was travelling at 'excessive' speed. The inquiry will quash a number of conspiracy theories that have circulated since 31 August 1997, among them that Diana was pregnant. It also found no evidence that the princess was planning to get engaged to Dodi, son of Mohamed Fayed.
The whole thing is just so odd. Why in the world was the NSA spying on Princess Diana? Other reports say that they were actually surveilling another person at the Ritz-Carlton in Paris who may have talked about the Princess. Which makes absolutely no sense. We weren't believing any of the conspiracy theories about her death -- until these facts turned up. Now, the whole thing looks fishy to us.

Investigation Reveals Princess Diana's Driver Was a Spy

Some new, really creepy information has been discovered about the day that Princess Diana died in a car crash: apparently the driver of the car was a spook. That's right, a card-carrying spy.
Wales died was working for the French secret service, the British team reinvestigating her death has been told. The inquiry - headed by Lord Stevens, the former Metropolitan police commissioner - into the Paris car crash that killed Diana is now trying to obtain the chauffeur's files from French intelligence but is being delayed by the reluctance of the authorities to hand them over. Stevens's team has asked the country's domestic intelligence service, the DST, to surrender all its "agent handling" files on Henri Paul, the chauffeur, to establish whether he was doing any work for his French intelligence bosses on the night of the crash.

Paul crashed the car, killing himself, Diana and her boyfriend Dodi Fayed in a tunnel in central Paris in 1997. It has previously been claimed - and strenuously denied - that he worked for SIS, the secret intelligence service, also known as MI6. Well-placed sources say requests by the Stevens team for information about Paul's activities on the day of the crash, and demands for complete records of tests taken on his blood after he died, have become bogged down by the "incredible bureaucracy" of the French justice system.

*****

The role of Paul, who was deputy head of security at the Paris Ritz hotel, and what he was doing in the hours up to the crash are central to the inquiry. Mohamed al-Fayed, the Harrods tycoon and Dodi’s father who also owns the Paris Ritz, has claimed Diana and his son were murdered by British intelligence. Scotland Yard sources disclosed last week that the French government had finally confirmed Paul's employment by the DST during discussions last year. A Yard source said: "We now know he was working for the French secret service and the French have got to give us access to the records of what he was doing. It's an issue. We want to know where he was and what he was doing that evening." After Paul's death French police discovered he controlled secret accounts containing more than £100,000 in 14 banks across France.
Ok, this is just too weird. The driver was a spy, and the autopsy found that he was full of drugs and alcohol...did someone inject him before he got into the car so he would crash? This is looking more and more like her death was no accident.

Prince Harry Ordered to Drop Trou

Prince Harry of Britain was ordered to drop his trousers during a military parade, so that his commanding officer could see if he had his girlfriend's name tattooed on his rear end.
The 21-year-old son of Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, is halfway through his British Army officer training course at the elite Sandhurst academy. The Sun, Britain's biggest-selling daily, said Harry, third in line to the throne, was ordered to bare his bum after rumours spread he had blonde Zimbawean-born girlfriend Chelsy Davy's name inked on.

During a parade, a colour sergeant yelled: "Cadet Wales, drop your pants and show me your backside!" Harry, apparently oblivious to the rumour, replied: "Are you serious?" before being ordered: "Just get them off, I want to see if it's true", The Sun said. The prince had his trousers around his knees before the grinning colour sergeant said: "It's OK, Wales, I'll take your word for it!"

An unnamed member of Harry's platoon told The Sun: "It was the funniest thing any of us have seen for ages. Everyone had heard the rumour but no one wanted to ask Harry if it was true. "Then one of the colour sergeants decided to play a trick on Harry in front of the whole platoon. "You should have seen Harry's face. We all fell about laughing. Harry blushed, then he also laughed." The Sun said the manner in which Harry took the joke on the chin proved the young prince was "made of the Right Stuff."
It's entirely unclear whether a tattoo was revealed or not. Such shoddy reporting...
