Marion Cotillard Wins Best Actress in Oscar Upset Marion Cotillard was the surprise winner of the Best Actress Oscar last night. The 32 year old French actress won for her portrayal of legendary french chanteuse Edith Piaf in La Vie En Rose. Marion gave a charming acceptance speech, saying "It is true there are angels in this city. Thank you so, so much!" Her custom-made mermaid gown was created by Jean Paul Gaultier.
