Serena Williams Hit With $82,500 Fine For ProfanitySerena Williams was hit with a record $82,500 fine for her profanity-laced tirade at a tennis match. She had already paid a $10,000 fine, but the new fine is from the Grand Slam organization. Some analysts think the fine was so high because of her half-hearted apologies and lack of remorse over the incident. If she does it again, she could be out of Grand Slam events.
