Birkitt and Halderman's Neighbor Thinks Letterman Story is WeirdKevin Lane, the neighbor of Stephanie Birkitt and Robert J. Halderman, thinks the whole story about his neighbors and David Letterman is "just a little weird." Kevin Lane's neighbor Robert J. Halderman has plead not guilty after being charged with attempting to extort $2 million from David Letterman. Stephanie Birkitt is one of the women David Letterman reportedly had an affair with. Kevin Lane says Stephanie Birkitt seemed to like working for David Letterman. She told him Letterman is "nice." Kevin Lane says he mostly talked with Robert Halderman about "normal stuff" like how's it going and that kind of thing. He says his neighbors seemed more like a couple than just roomates.
